Puddicomb Farms
Welcome to our blog, we have some fun things happening this month, Last month our theme was all about apples, we had a red and green themed days, and to finish it all off, we went to puddicomb farms for a fields trip. The month of October will be Fall themed, We will have Orange and Black days, along with Spooky Halloween Parties, where the kids will dress in fun Halloween costumes.
Wednesday, October 3 2012, Our Preschool went on our first field trip of the year. It was rainy, but the perfect day for a trip like this. The bunches of kids with rain boots, umbrellas and raincoats made for a picture perfect day. By the time we got to the farm the rain had stopped and we were able to enjoy the wonderful train ride throughout the farm. The kids enjoyed the beautiful farm scenery.
Next the kids went on a tractor ride throughout the orchard. Some kids stayed behind, to play in the beautiful playground and look at the animals that surrounded the farm. They were caged of course.
Our favourite part follows, we read a book about apples, learnt how to pick the perfect apple and than we went picking on our own. The children glowed when they got to pick their own sweet apples from the tree, they couldn't resist a bite.
Don't Miss our Annual Preschool Auction, This is the perfect place to get your Christmas Presents this year!
Hope you enjoyed the pictures of our fields trip as much as we enjoyed the day.

On the schools last field trip we went to Spring Ridge Farm. The kids enjoyed a warm tractor ride along the farm and went strawberry picking in the fields.
After a short walk down the hill with breath taking views of milton the kids enjoyed their time in the amazing play yard, that included a petting zoo, mazes, a truck sandpit and long slides. Lets just say at the end of the day the kids were exhausted from all the fun!
