Pajama Days!

 

On Thursday & Friday of this past week, the children dressed in their best jammies and brought in their favourite stuffies. They watched a movie, had storytime and ate popcorn (which they had loads of fun making with Ms. Sarah & Ms. Donna). It was a wonderful way to spend the morning! Who doesn't love a pajama day?

Auction Night - 2015

Live & Silent Auction Tonight!

 

 

 
We are excited for our Live & Silent Auction which is happening tonight at East Plains United Church, 375 Plains Road East, Burlington. Viewing begins at 6pm, bidding at 7pm. We have so many amazing items up for auction! We have been featuring them on our Facebook, Instagram & Twitter pages. We also have an amazing array of raffle prizes and some lovely door prizes. We hope to see you there!

Hallowe'en Fun

We had so much Hallowe'en fun this morning at the Preschool! We had appearances from Janis Joplin, Queen Bee, Thomas the Tank Engine, a race car driver, Marshall, Rainbow Dash, a watermelon, Minnie Mouse, a ladybug, Dalmations, a pirate, Tinkerbell, Clark Kent/Superman & Supermom, the Paperbag Princess, construction workers, a princess, a doctor, a cat & Scoobydoo!

Live & Silent Auction - November 19, 2015

Once again, everyone at the Preschool is hard at working preparing for our annual Live & Silent Auction! This auction has been running for around 21 years and has had a long history of success. We have raised thousands of dollars over the years, all of which has been poured directly back into the school. None of it is possible without the dedication of our volunteer parents, not to mention the generosity of local businesses who continue to support us.

So save the date! November 19th, 2015. Previews begin at 6:00 pm, bidding begins at 7:00 pm. Location is East Plains United Church, 375 Plains Road East in Burlington. Bring your friends, your family and friendly strangers. We are hoping to make this the most successful auction yet! Look forward to seeing you there.

Toddler Wait List / Spaces for Preschoolers 2015/2016

We are off to a great start this year at East Plains! We are currently wait listing for Toddlers (ages 18 months - 2 1/2 years), however, we have a few spaces left for Preschool aged children (ages 2 1/2 years - 5 years). Please contact the Registrar at 905-681-0233 or registrar@eastplainspreschool.com to arrange a tour & ask any questions.

If you would like to be added to the school wait list for your Toddler, please speak with the Registrar directly. A verbal request to be wait listed is unfortunately not sufficient, we require a $40 deposit cheque (not cashed until enrollment) & preliminary paperwork. We expect that registration will open up for Toddlers in March of 2016. Our wait list is first come, first serve.

2 Day Program (Recommended for Toddlers)

$145.00 per month - This program typically runs Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday 9-11:30 am

3 Day Program

$220.00 per month - this program runs Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9-11:30am

5 Day Program

$365.00 per month (non-duty) - this program runs Monday to Friday 9-11:30am

All spaces are non-duty although parents interested in participating in the classroom can opt-in to become a duty parent. A duty parent assists the teacher in the classroom with setting up crafts, preparing snack, helping the children with toileting & hand washing and setting up gym equipment. There are also light cleaning duties at the end of every class. The duty parent will be paid by the Preschool at a rate of $30.00 per class. Not only does this allow parents to effectively offset the cost of enrollment, but it also gives parents the opportunity to participate in the classroom with their child.
